Petronas Chemicals Group Berhad (PCG) has recently entered into a Sale and Purchase Agreement to acquire BRB. This acquisition enables BRB to focus on a strategic growth and also strengthen our finance team.
PCG is the leading integrated chemical producer in Malaysia and one of the largest in South East Asia.
As Plant Controller you are at the one hand responsible for the accounts payable & accounts receivable teams (5 FTE) in Ittervoort. And on the other hand you contribute to the improvement of the financial results and cost control of all locations in the Netherlands. In this roll you report to the VP Finance.
It is a challenging environment where processes and procedures are not fully defined yet. Your entrepreneurship, positive critical attitude, communication skills and persuasiveness are very welcome given the fact that your focus in the first period will be on optimizing the structure and processes in and with your teams. The implementation of a new ERP system will be part of it as well.
You will also be responsible for the following tasks:
- Development and maintenance of the planning and control cycle for the local facility
- Reporting of the analyses to senior management
- Ensuring adequate and correct financial data and having effective process controls in place
- Set up, implement and control of internal financial audit and control measures and systems
You enjoy the challenge of working in a dynamic and international environment where flexibility is a must. You remain calm in stressful situations, are able to prioritize tasks and have the ability to energize your teams. In this job you will work in close cooperation with the business and therefore you have excellent communications skills.
Furthermore, you have:
- 5 to 10 years experience in a similar managers position, preferably in an international company
- At least a bachelor degree in, preferably, business economics or accounting
- Experience in ERP implementation, preferable D365
- Experience in an industrial environment is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English
